PITTSBURG!

Dude! What a cool city! Soooo different from Denver, the Midwest, and the South. Its an old workers town. Sprawling in growth from the mining and steel industries. I entered into Pittsburgh and my Gps took me through all the neighborhoods to get to my hotel. What a cool ride. Coming into Pittsburg from the Interstate...

I want to kill these guys sitting next to me! AHHH soo loud...losing focus! lol...

Alright ADD moment over...but they are still yappin!

Coming into Pittsburgh from the Interstate was cool because all you saw was rolling hills everywhere with houses painted all over them. Once getting into the city you see the rivers and all the bridges that are bringing commuters across their mighty water...lol...romanticizing I know. There are a lot of reminders of the old steel mill days when everything was up an running and in full swing. Carrying a really busy but old aspect to the city. From what I understand a lot of the city has slowed down and shifted gears from those operations but there are still smaller scale projects going on. Driving through the neighbor hoods has been really cool as the streets are narrow, reminding me of driving our humvees through Iraq. The houses are old and a lot of the streets are cobble stone. A place full of history and style.

It seems like it has its own burrows like those of New York. Right now I am at a hotel over looking the Monongahela River on the South Side. There is also the North Side, North Shore, and a few other districts.

I am getting totally spoiled staying at a Sheraton hotel for free, well there is a $6.00 a day parking charge but I can manage that. So I use my time in the day to chill out like I am needing to do then go out and explore at night with Jared and his colleagues.
